The origin of the rumor occurred when some savvy Internet marketers
began making statements that they had heard "insiders' talk" that
the company (now publicly traded since April 30, 2004, just over 3
years ago) may face financial disaster with the release of a "new
system" that would allow advertisers to get their otherwise
pay-per-click (PPC) advertising completely free.

This, of course, would naturally lead directly (like a domino-
effect) to the collapse of Google's sibling program AdSense; as its
only revenue comes from the direct sales of AdWords "clicks."

The "new system" in question and responsible for the controversy
over getting AdWords pay-per-clicks free is that developed by
Dr Jon Cohen of New York City, New York (now retired) who discovered
a simple, yet effective means, for getting Google PPC ads without
having to suffer the costs involved.

The retired New York doctor and native has a publicly disclosed net
worth now in excess of $70 million [US], having generated well over
$377 million in product sales from sixteen (16) separate online
businesses within just nine (9) years since first venturing online
in 1998 (about the same time as Google was founded).

It is estimated by company insiders and leading financial analysts
that the "good doctor" (as he's called by "all who know him") has
purportedly saved well over $93 million (some estimates suggest
closer to $136 million) in otherwise paid advertising at Google and
the other major players in the PPC targeted-search arena online -
including Yahoo, MSN, AskJeeves, AllTheWeb.com, HotBot, AltaVista,
Lycos and Netscape, just to name a few.

The "secret" became available to the general masses last April, and
its very release caused such a major sweeping stir among the
community of Internet-marketers, affiliate-marketers, webmasters,
ecommerce company owners and surfers alike that the site quickly
rose to break the top most visited 1,000 websites on the entire
planet briefly; the Alexa data shows

When asked if the "secret" would somehow ruin Google, Dr Cohen
revealed almost cryptically that it actually would bring about just
the opposite effect, and "stimulate" even more business volume for
the virtual giant.

Many people were dismayed to find that Google itself is deliberately
allowing the purchase of 100,000's of PPC ads offering the secret
system to the general public -- which indicates to most observers
that either they [Google] haven't caught it, or they simply feel
that it somehow is not a threat to their continued operation.

For anyone's inspection factual and hard evidence supporting this
can be seen by simply looking to the right-hand column when doing a
search for "get google ads free" (specifically in quotation marks)
at Google.com under the "Sponsored Links" section.

You can also see nearly 100,000 specific results in the "organic"
fields index located in the center and which occupies the bulk of
the results pages.

One would think that if Google felt threatened by such a release as
this earth-shaking "secret" is, they would hardly allow for either
paid-ads or organic content to make the top searches regarding it.

However, evidence supports to the contrary - and this being the
case now for a full six (6) months.

Mysteriously, within just two (2) hours of its initial release last
April, Google itself actually did in fact 'pause' the parent firm's
attempts at advertising the new system using PPCs on their search
engine - only, however, to release the hold after a Review Team
consisting of some of Google's top executives completed performing
an in-depth investigation and made the determination to ALLOW the
ads to run.

The secret system was recently revised however to include "major
new content" and "more exhaustive instructions," and is now

The most important addition is that of a so-called "string of code"
(tech-talk for some HTML) that can be added to any webpage(s) that
instantly causes the elimination of the page owner's AdWords costs
right away.

Even a "live" woman spokes-representative ("Rachel") has been added
to the site, and who appears to literally walk out onto the webpage
and talk to visitors and explain a bit more how the mysterious new
breakthrough system works.

Since the addition of this new "live" spokes-woman has now appeared
at the site, company Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr Todd
Coutrin states that "sales for the system have skyrocketed above
2,430% suddenly and with no limit in sight."

Coutrin continues: "With the newest revision now in place, plus all
the additions added, affiliates for the new system can expect to
earn even more than ever before!" (Note: Affiliates make up the
bulk of the firm's sales generation.)

The refund rate for the new revised version of the secret (named
V5.1) has dropped to less than half of what it was before the newer
version's release; meaning it's now even more readily-received and
put to use than ever before (perhaps in large part to the newer
simplicity of application) - now making it the safest and one of
the best resellers for the networks of affiliate marketers who earn
their revenues from the reselling of other electronic publishers'
stock and digital product lines.

When asked, Google company representatives stated matter-of-factly
that the rumors of bankruptcy for the ecommerce giant are simply
not true, and that the rumor millings are in fact simply the result
of "panics" brought on by the usual hysteria associated with
anything large, new or revolutionary - or in this case, all three.

Attempts to contact both Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the former
Stanford University students who founded Google in 1998, to request
comment were unsuccessful.

Again, Google itself seems to be the biggest supporter of the "new
system" as it's allowing more and more advertisers to promote the
new system on its search engine before over 100 million daily
searches and surfers.

List Building Your Internet Business

Many new Internet marketing people ask themselves this question. What are my successes in my business and why? What are some of my failures and what would I do differently if I could do things all over again?

I myself have had some proud successes but I am not sure which is my biggest. If I were writing about building an opt-in list then here’s what I would teach and why it is important to start with an op-in list.

Step 1 would be to create a membership site with a bunch of free quality downloads (e-books, software, reports, etc.) where people could sign up for what they are interested in what you have to offer them.

Your next step would be to create a password protection page in what would become known as the members area for those who sign up.

Step 3 would be to create an exclusive one-time offer on a valuable product and offer it at a nice enticing discount. You need to stress that this is the only time they will see this offer as they cannot sign up twice. Then near the bottom of the page they can chose to either accept the offer and order the product or decline the offer and go straight to the members area to download their free goodies. This technique is being used very successfully with the Internet professionals and is very important.

Moving to step 4 you would then create what is known as a lead capture page offering the free quality downloads (e-books, software, reports, etc.). You probably already have a bunch of them on your computer. Choose wisely. On the lead capture form you ask for their name, email address and next they have to enter a turing number (Note:a test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. Example: AbY256) to sign up. They would then need to confirm their email address through their email account. You would also need to tell them to watch for a confirmation email. This is all security measures to prevent scams and phony email sign ups.

Let me explain why this is so powerful approach for beginners.

When a user signs up for your membership site free they need to complete a number of small, important actions.

1. Sign up and fill in a turning number to make sure they are who they say they are.
2. Click the link in the confirmation email they receive acting as a double op-in and clearing you of any spam accusations.
3. Log in to the members area and download their FREE products and then using an auto responder follow up with a welcome message,then helpful information and then some additional information with a sales recommendation spread out over a week or so.

For the men it might be the office or the two car garage. They focus on these and the rest of the house goes with their choice also.

Cars are the same. Seventy to eighty percent of the sale will be the "color" for the woman and the same percentage will be the engine and Interior for the man.

They also never ask a client to sign a contract. Instead they hand them the contract and smile asking, "your pen or mine". They know that if the client makes the one decision, they are already made the larger one and their interest is high.

This type of list building technique is currently converting at around 8% to 10%, which means 8 or 10 out of every 100 people who sign up will order the special one-time offer. Some of that will depend upon the quality of the offer. When you do a comparison that is way above industry average.

So my advice to Internet newbies and even veterans pros alike is to concentrate on the list building?

The most important thing is to give people good information and knowledge for free. That is why they came to the Internet in the first place. Nobody wants to receive just advertisements and solicitations. You need to build you own opt-in list of people who want your information and trust you as an honest expert. Make sure you also comply to email laws and use good business ethics.

Have you ever wondered where your paid traffic comes from? The services that generate paid traffic do it through a few key methods that you need to know about. Spending money to get traffic and not knowing where it is coming from or how effective it is, can be your biggest waste of finances.

1. Search Engine Marketing Method.

A great way to generate traffic for you is through search engine marketing like Google, Exact Seek, MSN or Yahoo and hundreds of smaller engines! These traffic generation sites buy keywords in bulk or many long-tail keywords and phrases and resell the traffic they generate from them. If they can do this at a profit, its a win-win for both them and the buyer. This is a difficult strategy only because the cost of keywords change frequently based on industry demand. Such keywords as loan, insurance, real estate and others are very expensive.

2.Looking At Traffic Exchange.

You must consider the quality of the traffic generated and the costs associated with the traffic equals the final production in terms of sales.

Another major factor to consider is the quality of the traffic your receiving. The high point of most traffic acquisition strategies is to improve your sales, generate more leads, and/or produce conversions. If this is your objective, I would only recommend paying for traffic if you have a way to measure the traffic to your site.

The path which the traffic takes through your web site and whether or not that traffic actually converts is of importance. So, whether you consider a conversion to be the completion of a web page form or the actual purchase of your product. Your buying this traffic for one reason and one reason only - to create sales and conversion. You need to keep this in mind before you spend any money on any paid traffic.

Is Google Just Sniffing Your Site With No Results?

One of the major objectives of any new site is to get a high ranking in the search engines especially Google. Google uses some filters for new web sites that can cause problems. The question everyone asks is how long does it take exactly until search engines list a new web site in the top 10 rankings where we all would like to be?
How long does it take until Google, Yahoo and MSN list a new site? When waiting on them it requires the attribute of patience.

In a recent test that one webmaster attempted to optimized his site for using a major four word keyword. After about three weeks, Yahoo and MSN showed the web site in the top 10 results but where was Google?

Even after several weeks, the same web site was nowhere to be seen in Google's top 10 results. The highest result that his experimental web site could obtain on Google was position 30.

So what does this mean for you?

From this test result looks like Yahoo and MSN are much quicker to list new web sites in their result pages. I would also be firm in saying that concentrating on these search engines first would be of the greatest benefit to new web sites. The test confirmed that Google has slow filters for new web sites that may take longer (lot longer) for your site to get ranked.

For webmasters, the results of this test mean that they have to develop a better understanding of Google's filters for new sites if they want to have top 10 ranking results that will benefit them.

There is no doubt that it is much more difficult for new web sites to obtain high rankings on Google but it is not impossible. You have to make sure that Google trusts your site and that you have optimized it to it's fullest with proper keywords, content, and back links.

For the public searchers using Google, the results of this educational test means that Google might not always have the best search results for them leaving behind some great web site that have not been optimized. This is very important particularly when it's a search for new content. With this thought in mind you may find Yahoo and MSN might be the better choice for some searches.

The question for you, Is your web site still not listed in Google's top 10 for your main keyword?

It has been a few months now for your new web site. Is your web site still not listed in Google's top 10 results bnut instead your site is filling up with spider webs leaving it still in the dark for the public searchers to find?

You may need to concentrate on those keywords which might be the reason for the problem. If you are attempting to target some very competitive keywords, then it will take much longer until your web site is listed in the top 10 rankings. The major income producers for those on the Internet is either eBay in which you sell other peoples products or affiliate marketing in which you sell other peoples products. NO, I did not repeat myself. Now in both of these you could create your own product in which you would make more money for yourself, but starting with someone Else's e book or program that has a track record of success is the easiest way to start.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could just get on the Internet
for the first time, and then without a lot of work and
hassle, find an opportunity to get rich overnight?

Seems like everybody thinks that, and I do mean everybody. We all
think that this is the way it should be? If that was possible then
we all would be driving that luxurious sports car,
live in a mansion and be on the beach all the time? :)

So first things first. There is no way you can make money
online without putting in the hard work, pay your dues like
the rest of us and learn what it is all about. Now that we have
cleared up, lets talk about how you can make money

for you. It includes a payment system and all the other
things you will need.

You can start with an e book, and a Sales page. Subject matter is your choice. You want to produce a
great looking e book cover and needed tools for your future affiliates to
promote your products. These promotion tools should
include: banners, text links, email text and if possible
complete articles. Your e book cover should look extremely
professional since there is no opportunity for your
customers to actually touch and feel but only excite them. That's why it should
at least look impressive. The same goes for your sales page with a second offer on the end of the sales page.

Again, find the best affiliates and acquire the tools needed.
Once you've tested your affiliate program and tested your sales page to make sure it is working properly. You will need to test your e book several times and actually make sales yourself.
That's when you are ready to find your own affiliates to assist you in selling it.

Although money is the reward we receive for our services it should not the bases of any business. These phases as we will call them are;

IDEAS
start with the scribbling on napkins that could very well solve a personal problem that would be useful to the individual. Once perfected in state of mind then comes a testing period to see if others may have need of the same service or product. This may take place through surveys or testing as in food production, and reworking the results to achieve the final product.

PLANNING
sets the stage for the launch pad. Calculating, count down, trouble shooting acquiring the resources needed to make it a visible product or service to offer a hungry public.

CONSTRUCTION
begins with one brick at a time. The office, the equipment, the product, the service and the employees needed to assist you in carrying out those objectives.Setting up the web site, sales page and payment processing. Most of this can be sub contracted out and should be so you can spend time concentrating on other things.

AWARENESS
is your advertising sign hanging in front of your store. It is the ads placed in newspapers, magazines and on the Internet. Your business cards, bumper stickers, referrals, and trade shows. This is where you shout it from the roof tops. “Look what I have to Offer.” On the Internet Pay Per Click, Free advertising, blogs and Joint Ventures will be your targets to create awareness.

GROWTH
can either be a gradual or explosive and sometimes an unexpected occurrence. Take for instance. With all the new technology popping up everyday, there is an evolution of improvements that could possibly be made to increase demand. So if your planning on starting a business or already in business, remember to write down these phases and see if there are any places that improvement could be made to make you the next Bill Gates.

An interested visitor who has just found your
site has finally come to what he/she is looking for and
is about to make a purchase. It's a sunny afternoon, and
her dog is chasing the cat and runs through the area. Immediately they
jump up to pursue the chase.

In the blink of an eye, your visitor exits your site, and
your sale is gone with them - unless you have had the foresight to
utilize an auto responder that has captured their email
address. If you have installed an auto responder, you can
then follow-up with them, and in all probability, make the
sale when the dog is put out and the cat is back to sleep.

Autoresponders are remarkable, versatile programs that do
so much more than just automatically answer your email.
The following are a few ideas that will help you to creatively and
productively use your auto responder to transform the casual
visitor into a profitable, grab the credit card customer.
Use your auto responder to:

1. Publish a newsletter. Certain quality auto responders
will manage subscriptions and follow-up with interested
prospects. Your newsletter can keep your visitors informed
about your services or products, while building your
reputation as a credible expert in your particular
business.

2. Publish a newsletter only for your affiliates. Inform
them of current sales you are running and of promotional
material that your affiliates can use themselves to
increase their commissions. Include tips, advice, and
techniques that your affiliates can use to successfully go
out and promote your business.

3. Write reviews. Cover books, software, music, e-books,
movies, etc., and put each review in an auto responder.
Review your affiliate programs, using a link to your
affiliates page in your auto responder.

4. Distribute your articles. Writing and distributing
targeted articles is a powerful tool to build your business
credibility, bring traffic to your site, and increase your
sales potential. If your articles contain valuable
information, many editors will print what is known as a
resource box for you. A resource box contains your bio and
a brief description of your service or product. It can also
contain your auto responder address.

Let's say you've written fifty articles. Put them on separate
auto responder
accounts and create a master list that contains the titles
of each article, the auto responder address, and a brief
abstract. Then promote your master list. Additionally,
include your publishing guidelines so your affiliates can
add their articles to your list, increasing the number of
writers who are represented in your article list.

5. Create mailing lists. Inform subscribers to your
articles when you've written new ones that they may want to
publish in their own newsletter or website.

6. Automate your sales process. Use an ad to insure
repeated exposure of your message, which has been proven to
effectively increase sales. In your ad, put your
auto responder address where a visitor will be exposed to
numerous marketing materials. This multiplies the chances
of converting visitors into customers. For example, if
you're selling a particular product, put testimonials about
how spectacular it is on your auto responder, and add a
detailed, enticing description of your product.

7. Distribute advertising. Let's say you sell advertising
on your website or in your newsletter or e-zine. Set your
auto responder to send the information about rates and how
to place an ad automatically to all prospects' email
addresses. Then have your auto responder follow-up. It can
also send notification of any special deals you are
currently offering.

8. Distribute an email course. Each day, have your
auto responder send out another lesson. Just be sure that
each lesson has quality content - not a sales pitch. Your
content will do the selling for you, and will do it much
more effectively. You can include tips centered on a
different topic for each lesson, illustrating how your
product will benefit the reader. Include the tangible
benefits the visitor will reap by purchasing your product.
Make sure to include a paragraph or two at the end of each
lesson enticing your prospect to consider making a
purchase.

9. Automate a reminder about your service or product after
a visitor has completed your course. This will increase the
possibility of sales from visitors who have taken your
course but are dragging their feet about actually making a
purchase. You can also use these reminders to promote new
products or services, and the products and services of your
affiliate programs.

10. Distribute free reports. This gives your visitor an
idea of the type of information you can provide and the
quality of your product or service. Make sure these reports
are not sales letters or you will more than likely lose a
potential customer than gain a sale.

11. Create trivia quizzes on your site and place the
answers in an auto responder. Your visitor will then be
motivated to request your auto responder, and you will have
a record of the visitors' email addresses who took your
quiz. Or create a contest and have any visitors that enter
send their responses to your auto responder. Your
auto responder can be set-up to send them a confirmation of
their entry.

12. Offer a trial version of your product. Give your
prospects a sample of your e book, course, software,
membership, etc. People who are exposed to a little taste
often end up wanting the whole pie. You can also capture
their email addresses when you offer them a free trial from
your website. Set up your auto responder to give
instructions on how to obtain their free trial, and then
make sure to follow-up to try and close the sale.

13. Link to hidden pages on your auto responder. For
example, a hidden page could be your affiliate page that
contains graphics, promotional articles, and text links
that interested affiliates can make use of. Inform visitors
that they may have free access to your affiliate page by
simply requesting your auto responder. You will then gather
a list of visitors who may be interested in becoming your
affiliates.

14. Use an auto responder on your order page. Post a request
form for visitors to be notified of special offers or
discounts in the future. This creates a very effective
mailing list that contains the names of people who are
already your customers.

15. Put your links page on your auto responder. It should
contain up to fifty links that would be of particular
interest to your visitors. Make sure to add your own
promotional copy at the top or bottom of this page.

However, the Internet has been changing with the technological evolution of the web. This has created a rising cost and marketing demand from web users. Where the static content site was once the center of everything good about the Internet, that has changed the direction. Your web site visitors demand more, but are you realy able to provide it? Lets look at various methods of including more content on your web site.
Adding additional Pages
OK, we'll deal with the most obvious method first. Add more pages. It's simple and it might be considered old school to many, but it still has a place. The more pages of content you have, the more information you can provide and the more keywords you can target. The math is simple and the technique is devastatingly simple.
Try to add new pages for new topics and, if a particular topic looks like being too verbose, split the page down into several parts.
